# General Expert

> Get paid to train AI through public jobs — open to anyone who qualifies.

## Overview

The **General Expert** account is WorkBolt's open path. You browse and apply to public jobs, complete recording tasks, and get paid for approved work. It's open to anyone who meets the eligibility and quality requirements — no student status required.

## Who it's for

* Anyone who qualifies and can meet our [quality standards](/policies/quality-standards)
* Contributors who want to work on their own schedule
* People with access to an approved [studio-grade microphone](/equipment/recommended-microphones) and a quiet recording space

  If you're a current college student or graduated within the past 2 years, you may also be eligible for the [AI Fellow](/getting-started/ai-fellow) path.

## What you do

* Browse [available jobs](/jobs/finding-jobs) and apply to the ones that fit
* Complete recording tasks following the [recording guidelines](/jobs/recording-guidelines)
* Submit your work for review and get paid for approved submissions

## How to get started

    After you sign up, our team will review your application. You’ll receive an email once your account has been approved.

    Start [finding jobs](/jobs/finding-jobs) and complete recording tasks to earn.
  </Step>
