# Profile Setup

> Set up your WorkBolt profile to get matched with the right projects.

## Your profile

Your profile is what WorkBolt uses to match you with projects. A complete, accurate profile increases your chances of being assigned to work. You can access your profile from the sidebar by clicking **Profile**, or from the user menu in the top-right corner.

## Profile sections

Your profile is organized into the following tabs:

### Resume

Upload and manage your resume. This helps the team understand your background and qualifications. You can upload a PDF or link to an existing resume online.

### Languages

List every language you speak along with your proficiency level:

| Level              | Description                                              |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Native** | Your first language, spoken since childhood |
| **Fluent** | Near-native proficiency, comfortable in all contexts |
| **Conversational** | Can hold conversations but may lack technical vocabulary |

<Note>
  Native speakers are prioritized for voice recording projects. Be honest about your proficiency — it directly affects the quality of your work and your eligibility for specific projects.
</Note>

### Availability

Set your working schedule including:

* **Timezone** — your local timezone for scheduling
* **Availability start** — when you're able to begin working
* **Hours per week** — how many hours you can commit
* **Day-by-day schedule** — specific days and hours you're available

<Info>
  Updating your availability doesn't commit you to those hours. It helps the platform estimate capacity and match you with projects that fit your schedule.
</Info>

### Account

Manage your core account settings including your name, email, and personal details.
