# Job Types

> Understand the different types of projects available on WorkBolt.

## Job categories

WorkBolt projects fall into three main categories:

### Data Collection

Record spoken audio following specific scripts and prompts. These projects are used to collect diverse speech samples that train voice AI models to be more accurate and natural-sounding.

## Certifications

Some projects require you to pass a certification quiz before you can start working. Certifications test your understanding of project guidelines, audio quality standards, and specific task requirements. You can view and manage your certifications from the **Certifications** page in your dashboard.
