# Code of Conduct

> Standards for conduct, work integrity and communication across WorkBolt.

This Code of Conduct applies to anyone who creates a WorkBolt account, applies for a job, participates in a project or intends to work with WorkBolt.

By using WorkBolt, applying for jobs or participating in WorkBolt communities, you automatically agree to follow these standards.

  Violations may result in warnings, project pauses, temporary restrictions or permanent removal from WorkBolt.

## General Conduct

All Experts must behave professionally and respectfully when interacting with other Experts, reviewers, clients and WorkBolt team members.

You must:

* Treat others with respect
* Communicate honestly and professionally
* Follow WorkBolt policies and project instructions
* Protect confidential project information
* Raise concerns through the correct support channels
* Cooperate with reviews, investigations and account checks

You must not:

* Harass, threaten, insult or intimidate others
* Use hateful, discriminatory or abusive language
* Publicly shame or target another Expert
* Spread rumors, false information or misleading claims
* Impersonate an Expert or WorkBolt team member
* Promote outside businesses, services, jobs or opportunities without permission
* Send unsolicited advertisements or promotional messages
* Attempt to disrupt WorkBolt projects, communities or operations

## Work Integrity

All work must be completed honestly, independently and according to the project requirements.

You must:

* Provide accurate profile and application information
* Accurately represent your language, accent, skills and experience
* Complete all work through your own account
* Use the equipment and setup approved for the job
* Maintain the quality shown during your application or audition
* Follow reviewer feedback and correct identified issues
* Protect recordings, scripts, instructions and client information

You must not:

* Allow another person to use your account
* Complete work through another person’s account
* Give your approved microphone or equipment to someone else to complete jobs
* Misrepresent your identity, accent, language proficiency or qualifications
* Change your microphone, camera, interface or recording setup without approval
* Submit copied, falsified or manipulated work
* Use unauthorized tools, automation or outside assistance
* Attempt to manipulate reviews, payments, matching or quality checks
* Continue working after your account or project access has been paused

  Account sharing, impersonation, intentional misrepresentation or having another person complete work may result in immediate removal.

## Discord Communication Guidelines

WorkBolt Discord channels are provided for project coordination, announcements, community communication and support.

### Use the correct channels

* Read channel descriptions, announcements and pinned messages before posting
* Keep messages relevant to the purpose of the channel
* Post questions in the correct job or support channel
* Do not post the same request across multiple channels
* Do not repeatedly tag team members
* Use direct messages only when requested or appropriate

### Communicate professionally

* Be clear, respectful and patient
* Allow the team reasonable time to respond
* Disagree without insulting or attacking others
* Do not pressure other Experts to match, respond or complete work
* Do not discuss private account, review or payment matters publicly
* Do not share another person’s private messages or personal information

### Do not spam or badger Support

Before contacting Support:

1. Review the Support Guide
2. Check announcements and pinned messages
3. Try the relevant troubleshooting steps
4. Gather screenshots and submission details

After contacting Support:

* Keep all relevant information in one message
* Do not send repeated messages about the same issue
* Do not contact multiple team members about the same request
* Do not demand immediate responses
* Follow the stated review, payment and reconciliation timelines

Repeated messages, duplicate requests or aggressive communication may result in Discord restrictions or account action.

### No promotion or solicitation

Do not use WorkBolt channels or member lists to:

* Advertise products or services
* Recruit for outside projects
* Share referral or promotional links
* Request money or investments
* Send unsolicited private messages
* Collect personal information
* Move Experts to unrelated outside platforms

Promotion is only permitted with written approval from WorkBolt.

## Enforcement

WorkBolt may review conduct across the platform, Discord, email, support requests and project activity.

Depending on the seriousness, frequency and impact of the violation, action may include:

1. A reminder or formal warning
2. Removal of messages or Discord access
3. A temporary project pause
4. Temporary account restrictions
5. Removal from a specific job
6. Temporary suspension from WorkBolt
7. Permanent removal from the platform

Severe or intentional violations may result in immediate removal without prior warnings.

  WorkBolt reserves the right to pause, restrict or permanently remove any Expert from a job, Discord community or the platform. Action may be taken based on conduct, work quality, policy violations, account activity, project requirements or risk to WorkBolt, its clients or other Experts.

## Reporting a Violation

Report harassment, impersonation, privacy violations, scams or serious misconduct to [support@workbolt.ai](mailto:support@workbolt.ai).

Include:

* A clear description of the issue
* The usernames or accounts involved
* The relevant date and project
* Screenshots or supporting information

Do not retaliate against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.
