## Who you can refer

You can refer anyone who:

* Does **not** already have a WorkBolt account
* Signs up using your unique referral link

<Warning>
  Self-referrals and duplicate accounts are not allowed. Referrals must be genuine new users who sign up through your link.

| Referral already has a WorkBolt account | Not eligible |
| Submissions are rejected (don't pass quality review) | Doesn't count toward the requirement |
| Referral window expires before requirements are met | Status changes to **Expired** |
| Referral account is suspended or deactivated | Referral is invalidated |

## Referral expiration

Each referral has a time-limited window to complete the required submissions. The expiration is set when the referral signs up and is visible in your dashboard as:

* **Days remaining** — countdown on each referral card
* **Expires at** — the exact expiration date

Once a referral expires, it cannot be reactivated.
