WorkBolt is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and inclusive community. All contributors are expected to follow this code of conduct in all interactions on the platform and in the Discord community.

Professional standards

Expected behavior

  • Communicate respectfully with the WorkBolt team and fellow contributors
  • Complete work honestly and to the best of your ability
  • Follow project guidelines and deadlines
  • Report issues or concerns promptly
  • Respect confidentiality of all project materials
  • Respond to project assignments and feedback in a timely manner

Unacceptable behavior

  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language
  • Submitting plagiarized or AI-generated work when not permitted
  • Sharing project data or confidential information
  • Creating multiple accounts or gaming the system
  • Misrepresenting your identity, skills, or location
  • Outsourcing your tasks to third parties

Work integrity

Original work

All submissions must be your own original work unless the project explicitly allows otherwise:
  • No copying from other contributors or external sources
  • No using AI tools to generate submissions (unless the project permits it)
  • No outsourcing your assigned tasks to others
  • All recordings must be your own voice

Honest representation

  • Your profile must accurately reflect your skills, experience, and language abilities
  • Do not accept projects for languages or accents you are not proficient in
  • Accurately represent your availability and equipment
  • Report any issues with your submissions rather than submitting substandard work

Confidentiality

  • Project scripts, topics, guidelines, and data are confidential
  • Do not share screenshots, recordings, or details about projects publicly
  • Do not discuss project specifics with anyone outside the WorkBolt team
  • This obligation continues even after you leave a project or the platform

Consequences

Violations of this code of conduct are handled progressively:

Warning

A written warning for first-time or minor violations, with guidance on expected behavior.

Project removal

Removal from specific projects for repeated or moderate violations.

Account suspension

Temporary suspension of your account for serious or repeated violations.

Account termination

Permanent removal from the platform for severe violations or patterns of misconduct.
Severe violations such as fraud, data theft, or harassment may result in immediate account termination without prior warning. WorkBolt reserves the right to withhold payment for work that violates these standards.

If you witness or experience a violation of this code of conduct, report it to support@workbolt.ai or through the Discord community. All reports are handled confidentially.
