The standard referral bonus is $25.00 per qualifying referral. The exact bonus amount is shown on your referral link card in the dashboard.
Bonus amounts may vary over time or during promotional periods. Always check your Referrals page for the current amount.

How bonuses are earned

Your bonus is credited when your referral completes the required number of approved submissions. The typical requirement is 3 approved submissions within the referral window.

If your referral doesn’t complete the required submissions before the expiration date, the referral expires and no bonus is paid. The days remaining are displayed on each referral in your dashboard.

Earning breakdown

Your Referrals dashboard shows two key figures:

Total Earned

Your cumulative earnings from all successful referrals. This is the total amount that has been or will be paid out.

Pending

Bonuses for referrals who have signed up but haven’t yet completed the required submissions. These convert to earned once requirements are met.

Payout process

Once a referral bonus is earned (status changes to Hired):
  1. The bonus is added to your WorkBolt earnings
  2. Payment is processed through Dots along with your regular job payouts
  3. Payments follow the standard pay schedule — processed every Thursday by 11:59 PM for eligible payouts
You can view and withdraw your referral earnings from the Earnings page in your dashboard, alongside your job earnings.
Referral bonuses are paid to the referrer (you). The person you referred does not receive a bonus — they benefit by gaining access to WorkBolt projects and earning through their own work.

No cap on referrals

There is no limit to how many people you can refer. The more qualifying referrals you make, the more you earn. Each referral is tracked independently with its own progress, expiration, and bonus.
