Browser requirements

All WorkBolt projects are completed through the web-based platform. You’ll need:
  • Google Chrome (latest version) — this is the only officially supported browser
  • Stable internet connection (5+ Mbps download and upload)
  • Microphone permissions enabled in your browser
Chrome is the only officially supported browser. Other browsers may cause issues with recording, playback, or conversation sessions. Use Chrome to avoid technical problems.

Enabling microphone access

1

Navigate to WorkBolt

Open Chrome and go to workbolt.ai.
2

Allow microphone access

When prompted, click Allow to give WorkBolt access to your microphone. If you’ve previously denied access, click the lock icon in the address bar and set Microphone to Allow.
3

Select the right device

If you have multiple microphones, make sure the correct one is selected. Go to Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Site Settings → Microphone to set your default device.
4

Test in the platform

Use the audio test tools provided in WorkBolt’s recording interface to confirm your microphone is working correctly before starting a session.

Camera access (video projects)

Some projects require video in addition to audio (e.g., video conversation collection). For these, you’ll also need to allow camera access in Chrome.
