What is the daily limit?
Every job on WorkBolt has a daily limit — the maximum number of tasks or submissions you can complete in a single day. Once you’ve reached your limit, the Join Conversation or submission button will show “Daily Limit Reached” and you won’t be able to take on more tasks until the limit resets. Your daily limit is shown as a ring indicator on your active project card in the dashboard, displaying how many submissions you’ve used out of your total for the day. When does it reset?
Your daily limit resets every 24 hours based on your time zone. At midnight in your local time zone, your count goes back to zero and you can start submitting again.Make sure your time zone is set correctly in your profile. The reset is tied to your time zone, not a universal clock.
What affects your daily limit?
Your daily limit is not fixed — it can change based on several factors:Job performance and quality
Your submission quality is the biggest factor that influences your daily limit. The WorkBolt team monitors quality metrics across your submissions, and your limit is adjusted accordingly:| Performance | Effect on daily limit |
|---|---|
| Consistently high quality | Limit may be increased over time |
| Average quality | Limit stays at the default level |
| Poor quality or repeated rejections | Limit is significantly reduced |
Other factors
- Job default — Each job has a default daily limit set by the project. This is your starting point when you begin working on a new job.
- Per-expert adjustment — The WorkBolt team can adjust your limit individually based on your track record, reliability, and the project’s needs.
- Project demand — Limits may be adjusted across the board when a project needs more or fewer submissions.
How to check your daily limit
On your dashboard, each active project card shows:- A ring indicator displaying your progress (e.g., 3 of 10 used)
- The remaining submissions you have left for the day
How to increase your daily limit
Focus on quality
Follow all project guidelines carefully. Make sure your submissions are accurate, complete, and meet the quality standards outlined in the job’s certification and recording guidelines.
Minimize rejections
Review feedback on any rejected submissions and avoid repeating the same mistakes. A low rejection rate signals reliability.
Can I request a higher daily limit?

My limit dropped suddenly — what happened?
My limit dropped suddenly — what happened?
A sudden drop usually means recent submissions were flagged for quality issues. Check your job reviews for feedback, address the issues, and your limit can recover as your quality improves.
Does the daily limit apply to all jobs?
Does the daily limit apply to all jobs?
Each job has its own independent daily limit. Reaching the limit on one job doesn’t affect your ability to work on other jobs.
What if my daily limit is zero?
What if my daily limit is zero?
A limit of zero means you’ve been temporarily paused on that job, usually due to quality concerns. Review your recent feedback and contact support@workbolt.ai if you believe this is an error.
