Who can refer

Any active WorkBolt expert with a completed profile can participate in the referral program. Your unique referral link is automatically generated and available on the Referrals page in your dashboard.

Who you can refer

You can refer anyone who:
  • Does not already have a WorkBolt account
  • Signs up using your unique referral link
  • Is eligible to work on WorkBolt (meets age, location, and legal requirements)
Self-referrals and duplicate accounts are not allowed. Referrals must be genuine new users who sign up through your link.

What counts as a qualifying referral

For a referral to qualify and earn you a bonus, the referred person must:
1

Sign up through your link

They must use your unique referral link to create their account. The referral code is automatically applied when they click your link.
2

Complete onboarding

They need to finish the onboarding process, including profile setup and any required verifications.
3

Complete approved submissions

They must submit work that passes quality review. The required number of approved submissions (typically 3) is shown on each referral’s progress tracker.
4

Meet the deadline

All requirements must be completed within the referral window. Each referral has an expiration date and a countdown showing days remaining.

What disqualifies a referral

A referral will not earn a bonus if:
ScenarioResult
Referral doesn’t sign up through your linkNot attributed to you
Referral already has a WorkBolt accountNot eligible
Submissions are rejected (don’t pass quality review)Doesn’t count toward the requirement
Referral window expires before requirements are metStatus changes to Expired
Referral account is suspended or deactivatedReferral is invalidated

Referral expiration

Each referral has a time-limited window to complete the required submissions. The expiration is set when the referral signs up and is visible in your dashboard as:
  • Days remaining — countdown on each referral card
  • Expires at — the exact expiration date
Once a referral expires, it cannot be reactivated.
No. Once a referral link has been attributed to a user, it cannot be reused or re-attributed, even if the original referral expired.
Rejected submissions don’t count toward the requirement, but your referral can continue submitting new work. As long as they reach the required number of approved submissions before the deadline, the referral still qualifies.
You need an active WorkBolt account to receive payouts. Your referral link remains valid as long as your account is in good standing.
If you have questions about a specific referral’s status or eligibility, contact support@workbolt.ai with the referral details.
