Overview
The WorkBolt referral program lets you earn cash bonuses by inviting others to join the platform. When someone signs up through your unique referral link and completes the required work, you get paid.Step-by-step process
Get your referral link
Go to the Referrals page in your dashboard. Your unique referral link is displayed at the bottom of the page with your personal referral code.
Share it
Share your link using any of the built-in options:
- Copy the link to your clipboard and paste it anywhere
- Share using your device’s native share menu (SMS, email, messaging apps)
- Invite via LinkedIn with a one-click share button
Your referral signs up
When someone clicks your link and creates a WorkBolt account, they’re automatically attributed to you. You’ll see them appear in your referrals list with a Signed Up status.
They start working
Your referral goes through onboarding, applies to projects, and begins submitting work. Their status updates as they progress: Signed Up → Applying → Under Review.
Referral statuses
Track your referrals’ progress through these stages:| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Signed Up | Your referral created an account but hasn’t started applying yet |
| Applying | Your referral is in the process of completing applications |
| Under Review | Your referral has submissions being reviewed — your bonus is pending |
| Hired | Your referral met the requirements — your bonus has been earned |
| Expired | The referral window closed before requirements were met |
Tracking your referrals
The Referrals dashboard gives you full visibility:- Total Earned — your cumulative referral bonus earnings
- Pending — bonuses waiting for referrals to finish their submissions
- Status tabs — filter referrals by status (All, Signed Up, Applying, Under Review, Hired, Expired)
- Search — find specific referrals by name or email
- Progress tracker — see how many approved submissions each referral has completed (e.g., 1/3)
- Expiration countdown — days remaining for each active referral
Your referral link and bonus amount are always visible in the fixed bar at the bottom of the Referrals page. You can copy or share it at any time.
