Onboarding steps
After creating and verifying your account, you’ll go through a 6-step onboarding process to complete your profile and get matched with projects.Basic Information
Provide personal details including your location, timezone, and demographic information. This helps us match you with the right projects.
Resume and Work Background
Upload your resume and add details about your work experience, education, skills, and professional background. You can also include links to your LinkedIn, portfolio, or other relevant profiles.
Language Questionnaire & Recording
Tell us about the languages you speak and your proficiency levels. You’ll also record a short voice sample so we can assess your audio quality and accent.
Availability
Set your timezone, when you’re available to start, and how many hours per week you can commit. You can also specify your day-by-day availability.
What happens after onboarding
Application review
Your profile is reviewed by the WorkBolt team. This typically takes 1–2 business days. You’ll receive an email once the review is complete.
Final setup
Once approved, you’ll complete a final setup process:
- Identity & Payment Setup — verify your identity and set up your payment account through Dots
- Join Discord — connect with the WorkBolt community on Discord
- Platform Instructions — review an overview of how the platform works
Onboarding checklist
Before you submit
- All personal information is accurate
- Resume is uploaded and up to date
- Languages and proficiency levels are listed
- Voice recording is clear with no background noise
- Availability is set correctly
