Onboarding steps

After creating and verifying your account, you’ll go through a 6-step onboarding process to complete your profile and get matched with projects.

Welcome

A brief introduction to WorkBolt and what to expect from the platform.

Basic Information

Provide personal details including your location, timezone, and demographic information. This helps us match you with the right projects.

Resume and Work Background

Upload your resume and add details about your work experience, education, skills, and professional background. You can also include links to your LinkedIn, portfolio, or other relevant profiles.

Language Questionnaire

Tell us about the languages you speak and your proficiency levels

Recording

Record a short voice sample so we can review your audio quality, clarity, and accent. Please make sure your recording is clear, easy to understand, and spoken in your natural voice.We may keep your voice sample on file and contact you about voice-acting opportunities if your profile is a good match.

Availability

Set your timezone, when you’re available to start, and how many hours per week you can commit. You can also specify your day-by-day availability.

Review & Complete

Review all the information you’ve provided and submit your application.

What happens after onboarding

Application review

Your profile is reviewed by the WorkBolt team. This typically takes 1–2 business days. However, this timeframe can vary based on multiple factors. You’ll receive an email once the review is complete.

Final setup

Once approved, you’ll complete a final setup process:
  1. Identity & Payment Setup — verify your identity and set up your payment account through Dots
  2. Join Discord — connect with the WorkBolt community on Discord
  3. Platform Instructions — review an overview of how the platform works
  4. Emails –– ensure that support@workbolt.ai is marked as a safe sender and avoid losing our communications to spam
  5. Email Security — Only trust emails sent from support@workbolt.ai. Do not respond to messages from other email addresses claiming to represent WorkBolt, as they may be impersonation or phishing attempts

Start working

After final setup, you’ll have full access to the dashboard where you can explore jobs, apply to projects, and start earning.
If your application is not approved, you’ll be notified by email. Make sure your profile is complete and your voice recording is clear to improve your chances.
